Alright, let’s clarify things a bit. Success and failure aren’t judged by the bone scan; it’s the CT scan that takes the spotlight. The PET scan? Well, some oncologists are into it, others not so much. I’ve been through every scan imaginable, just not the PET. But it’s the CT that’s the benchmark here. That doesn’t mean the Bone Scan is useless; it just struggles with the soft tissue stuff.
Drumroll for the good news! No new legions and a slight retreat in my T4.
For those not up to speed on the initial diagnosis, the T4/T5 is where the real trouble started. I had been having pain for months, and then one night, the T4 broke, and the disk between T4/T5 gave up the ghost. That landed me in the emergency department, unveiling the whole sega. Quite the unexpected turn of events!
I know I should be thrilled about the Bone Scan, but I can’t wait to get the CT results. I won’t get a copy until at least the 22nd, but I have an appointment at the Cancer Clinic this Monday, so I can get a verbal then.
No new legions and a slight retreat on the T4! yes!!
Oh Allison, I’m so happy to hear this. Bring on Monday and hopefully more good news. I’m thinking of you always.
Wonderful report Allison
We are rejoicing with you
Thrilled to hear the results.
