Update and Latest PET Results

Where do I even start? There’s so much news to share, but I’ll do my best to keep it concise.

I’m back, and let me tell you, that intimate time with the kids, far away from everyday life, was precisely what I needed. We all had such a good time. I even ditched the diet while away, so it really was a total break from reality. I got a cold on the way home, but thankfully, it was the first in a long time and not during the trip. I’m good now and back in a state of ketosis, though not at therapeutic levels yet, but I’ll get there. I hoped to put on some weight while away to counter the next round of glucose control. This typically means fasting a lot but eating my way through Italy resulted in a 10-pound gain in one month. So, literally, I have a bit more cushion right now.

Anyway, five days after getting back, I went to Burnaby for a PET scan. Today, I got the results, and I’m still killing cancer! I repeat – I’m a cancer-killing machine!

To catch a few people up, I started this self-prescribed press/pulse treatment in late September; by December, my breast tumour was gone, and I’ve been experiencing regression in my bones ever since.

Obviously, I’m ecstatic, but there’s room for improvement. I might never get to perfect, but I can keep walking in that direction.

Anyway, here are the exact words from the report: “Overall activity throughout the previously demonstrated skeletal metastases is reduced. For example, in C5, SUV max 7.1 (previously 8.4), and in T8, SUV max 2.8 (previously 5.6). No new osseous metastases demonstrated.”

So, my next steps:

1. Get back into therapeutic ketosis.

2. Work on my glucose levels, aiming for a GKI of 1 or under.

3. Find a less expensive source of DON.

4. Find a way to fund the purchase of more DON at the current cost if I have to

Anyway, that’s my great news.
